The fall of the pallu over the shoulder is the part a background swap always loses. It is generated from your photograph, so the drape follows the weight of the actual cloth.
Border and zari survive the render
A woven border runs continuously along the edge and the corner buta work has to stay readable. Both are carried through rather than smoothed away.

Questions
Does the print stay exactly the same?
Yes. The weave, the print and the colour come from the photograph you send. Nothing is substituted for a lookalike.
Can I send a saree folded on a shelf?
It works best spread out or on a dummy. A folded saree hides the pallu and the border, which are the two things buyers look at.
